Digital Transformation Roadmap for Egyptian Businesses
A practical, seven-pillar way to plan transformation — migrate, automate and innovate without disrupting daily operations.
Technology leadership
In my experience, transformation rarely fails because of the technology. It fails when the people who use it don't see the point, when processes stay the same, or when nobody measures whether anything improved. I start with the business outcome, keep the technology as simple as the problem allows, and bring people along from the beginning.
My background is in IT management, cloud and enterprise technology. These are the areas I work in and enjoy sharing.
My approach
Not a methodology — just the principles I come back to every time technology is supposed to change how an organization works.
Agree on the business result first — faster service, lower cost, less risk — and how you'll know it improved.
Map how work really happens today. Automating a broken process only makes it break faster.
Choose the simplest cloud, data or AI solution the problem allows, and build on what already works.
Involve the people who will use it from day one, and train them so they trust the change.
Track the outcome you agreed on, keep an eye on cost, and keep improving after go-live.
